Discussion Groups

Welcome to the section of Discussion Groups of the Summits of the Americas Virtual Community.

In addition to the time-specific forums moderated by the Summits Secretariat and other partner institutions, this section has been created to allow community members to discuss in an on-going basis a particular area of interest.

As a community member you may:

  • Request to create a group: Complete the form available in Contact Us
  • Join an existing group: Explore the list of existing groups below.
  • Invite other members to join the group: Once you are a member of a group you may invite others to join.

A group is created by the Summits Secretariat upon request by a community member. In an effort to strengthen networks and collaboration throughout the region, Groups are meant to be used as an open forum on specific subject areas, as a tool to follow-up on different initiatives and to become familiar with similar institutions and actors interested in Summit-related themes.

We invite you to take advantage of this tool, become familiar with the different participants, share ideas and stay current on the discussion.

Thank you for your interest and participation in the different Groups created in the framework of the Summits of the Americas.
