How to Use the SVC

The Summits Virtual Community (SVC) is an open forum for interested actors in this multilateral process. It offers tools to share ideas, follow-up and provide feedback on the different topics discussed by the region’s leaders through the Summits of the Americas process.

To be a member of the community
and participate, you must be registered to in the SVC. Please register by following these steps:

1.  Complete the registration form: you will subsequently receive an e-mail confirming your registration as a member of the community and including the instructions on how to participate.

 

2.  Get involved and participate: there are many ways to get involved with the Summits process through the SVC, as a member of the community you can:

 

  • Stay informed: have full access to news, documents and other materials related to the Summits process.
  • Start a discussion: hold discussions in the framework of the forums created by the Summits Secretariat and its partners. Help members answer questions, participate in debates, and connect with other users.
  • Start a group: request to open specific public or private groups to hold ongoing discussions on topics of particular interest. Groups allow you to connect with users with similar interests, foster collaboration in projects and initiatives, and facilitate follow-up to meetings and conversations.
  • Add a video or a picture: upload videos and pictures related to the forums and groups. By adding relevant videos and pictures to our community, you are able to share content that members are likely to watch.
  • Contact other members: Interact with other community members by exploring member and organization profile pages.
