Prince Aaron Alonzo is in line to become the 17th consecutive Toparomaca / Isau (Hereditary King) of the Northern Band of Nepoyo Arawaks of Ieree (Trinidad). He holds a title of Knighthood with the Vatican and caries the title of Prince or Mabo in the Taino language, which has been a Catholic Monarchy ever since the early 1800's. As a result of the Catholic influences and tradition, the title carries with it the appellation of H.R.H. Or His Royal Highness.
In today's environment most Nepoyo Arawaks carry two names. These names consist of a modern legal name as well as a traditional tribal name, that usually is given later in life to coincide with the animal spirit that the individual is bonded with. Within the tribe the Prince is known by his the Tribal name, Mabo Mucaro Ris, which means Prince Red Night Eagle (Owl) in the Taino language. He was born in the city of Cascade in 1975 in St. Anns Parish, Trinidad, and is the Great Grandson of Toparomaca (King) Paline' of the Tacarigua Band of Nepoyo Arawaks from the Tacarigua River also known as the Caura River of Trinidad and was a direct descendent of the Isau's (Emperors) of the Orinoco Empire.
The Tacarigua band of Nepoyo was also known for the Great Cacique (War chief) Hyarima who had successfully fought off the Spanish and made a treaty with the Dutch in the early 1600's. Hyarima represented the last great era of the military might of the Nepoyo until eventually In 1943 the Tacarigua Band of Nepoyo were forcibly removed from the valley to make way for a tourist destination and Dam. Due to many mysterious circumstances, the project was never completed and abandoned. To this day there are ruins of ancient structures deep inside of the Tacarigua.
During his early childhood, Prince Aaron migrated to the US to attended school in Miami FL, where he remained and later studied Economics. In addition to being a Mabo of the Nepoyo Nation he is also currently the CEO of a merchant banking capital group called Cambridge Merchant Capital Group that operates primarily in the United States. The Mabo also currently sits as the elected Chairman of the Tribal Council for the Nepoyo Nation which manages the nations assets. The ruling party of the Nepoyo Nation of which the Prince is the Cacique / Chief of is called the Jaguar Clan Council. The Jaguar clan is made up primarily of the noble class of descendents of the Isau's / Emperors of the Orinoco Empire.
